In 2024, we have one of our Pillars at the conference dedicated to Cannabis. Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA)/Vertical Farming has a long history and sound experience in growing medicinal cannabis for over two decades. Technology and understanding of cannabis plants are available on the market but it needs to be adapted to each regional market.

At the AVF summit, Lorenz Minks, Chief Commercial Officer at Cannavigia will be speaking about, Quality Control and its Implications for Social Cannabis Clubs. Johann Waldherr, Business Development Manager at Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH will be presenting on Sustainable Lighting Concepts for Indoor Cannabis Farming in Repurposed Agricultural Spaces, explaining how they converted a pig barn into an indoor farm specializing in cannabis. Kjell Sneeuw from Cultivators BV will round off the speakers discussing Challenges and Research in Cannabis Growing.

All three speakers will also bring their combined knowledge and expertise together in a panel discussion around Mastering Challenges, Elevating Quality: Current Trends in Cannabis Cultivation
