Join the North American Chapter of the Association for Vertical Farming (AVF) on Thursday, November 10th, from 1:00-2:30 EST for our first round table discussion. We will cover a wide range of topics to help members and potential members understand the full breadth and scope of what AVF encompasses. We will discuss engaging the public, policy and regulations, the role of universities and educational centers in furthering vertical farming as an industry, and the technological advancements in the field.
We will hear from notable speakers including Professors Brian Cummings & Saeid Mobini of Queens University, Stephen Ritz of Green Bronx Machine, Kyle Barnett of Cultivatd, Trevor Golding of Gold Leaf, Fadi Al-Daoud of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, and AVF’s own Richard Gibson, Director, AVF North America- Collaborative Investment. Each expert in their field will speak for a few minutes on the topics and be open to questions at the end of the session.
