For commercial greenhouses, vertical farms and research centers, LED lighting is critical to increase crop yields and quality while reducing OPEX. Product innovations continue in the ag-tech space with far-red lighting technology promising to have a big impact. Gold Leaf Technologies will be joined by Delphy and Heliospectra to discuss the latest developments and other lighting best practices.
In this webinar, you will learn:
- The latest far-red lighting innovations
- The top LED lighting best practices
- Other ag-tech trends that will have the biggest impact on your crops
Recipient of the 2023 Top 4 under 40 Award by Greenhouse Canada, Trevor is a leader and entrepreneur at heart, with a passion for business. Most days, you’ll find him deeply engaged with customers, discussing innovative ag-tech solutions while keeping value and customer ROI top of mind. Stijn’s expertise is in the field of climate and (LED-) light in greenhouse horticulture. He has broad experience coordinating and running research projects in a diversity of crops, where the focus is on connecting innovations and fundamental knowledge with the challenges that growers are facing. In most trials, Delphy collaborates with growers and suppliers to build growing strategies and concepts that contribute to a more sustainable way of growing crops without compromising quality and yield.
Ida oversees Heliospectra’s in-house Plant Lab in Sweden and conducts both research and commercial crop trials to assess planned light strategies, plant health, crop performance and desired production outcomes. After wrapping up her studies in Biology and Ecology she moved onto working with a few different research projects before joining Heliospectra (12 years ago)! Since then she’s spent her time focusing on trying to understand exactly what types of light plants need to truly thrive.
