For the past three years, Global AgInvesting has gathered some of the leading players in the agriculture sector for AgTech Week – an event dedicated to discussing investment opportunities in the burgeoning agtech space. In 2017 we built on the success of those events by adding the first AgTech Nexus in Dublin, Ireland – a one-day conference heavily focused on emerging tech and innovative startups.

For 2018, GAI is excited to bring you the best of both events with AgTech Nexus USA, a two-day conference where agribusinesses, investors, tech companies and other stakeholders will be immersed in the innovations and investment opportunities surrounding this exciting sector. Gain market knowledge, understand the current trends impacting agtech deal flow, learn from provocative discussions led by industry leaders and build your network.

Women in AgTech: join us as we strive for equal female and male representation on the speaking faculty for our event this year. This would be a first in the agtech space, as representation of women typically hovers at an average of fewer than 6 speakers at any given event (or 15% of the total faculty), which is hardly representative of the talent pool in the sector. We are encouraging female entrepreneurs to apply to pitchtheir businesses at Fenway Park on June 6, as only 2% of venture capital dollars went to women-run businesses last year.
