DLG announces new committee for New Feed & Food

Six founding members – Chairman Prof. Dr. Tilo Hühn – Constituent meeting within the Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show in Hannover (DLG) framework.

The location of the constituent meeting of the new committee New Feed & Food of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) could not have been better chosen: the “Inhouse Farming – Feed & Food Show” in Hannover. As part of Agritechnica, the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural technology, this international B2B meeting point for future agricultural and food systems provided valuable impulses and technical solutions for innovative nutrition systems of the future. The six founding members of the new DLG committee also found the professional exchange across industry boundaries very inspiring. The committee’s goal is to rethink production systems and value chains, initiate discussions, accompany innovative developments professionally, and actively shape the turning point in our food system.
The diverse global challenges cannot be solved alone. Networking of industries and professional exchange are becoming increasingly important for sustainable progress. The DLG, a leading competence network for future issues in agriculture and the food industry, is predestined to actively shape a sustainable future of nutrition. The expertise of the newly established committee members will provide important impulses for this.

The DLG committee New Feed & Food includes:

  • Prof. Dr. Tilo Hühn, Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW)
  • Michael Gusko, ZERO1 HEALTH GmbH

But also, the production and processing of plant-based protein sources, insects and algae, vertical farming and cellular agriculture will be highlighted.
