2018 International Indoor Plant Factory Symposium to be held on June 12-15, 2018, in Shanghai, China.
Organized by the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences (SAAS) and AEssense Corporation, this event aims to bring together the world’s leading entities in indoor commercial cultivation to exchange ideas of innovations, technologies, and research.
Attendees will include global commercial cultivation enterprises, private research institutions, and the world’s leading colleges & universities in agricultural sciences and technology.
Among the keynote speakers, Dr. Dickson Despommier, Emeritus Professor at Columbia Univeristy and Honorary Board member at AVF, will discuss how tomorrow’s city will be self-sustaining. Christine Zimmerman-Loessl, AVF Chairwoman, will present the transforming power of vertical farming – global trends and local impacts. Dr. Toyoki Kozai, President of Japan Plant Factory Association, will host a talk about the present and future of the plant factory with artificial lighting.
